Link Social Media Accounts

Link your Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube accounts to your RockPorch account. This enables you to import content from social media platforms.

To add/edit, click on your profile picture in the navigation bar. Select Profile from the dropdown menu, then click ‘Edit Profile’. Fill in your account username of the social media account you would like to link to RockPorch, then click Submit.

Do they just type in the username? For example, for Instagram would it be rockporch, @rockporch, or www.instagram.com/rockporch/

Create a Post

Link your Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube accounts to your RockPorch account. This enables you to import content from social media platforms.

Click on the [+] icon in the navigation bar. Select “Share a Post” from the dropdown menu.

click the icon of the social media platform you would like to import the content from located at the bottom of the cover photo. This will show you your content from the platform you selected. Select the content you would like to import into RockPorch.

To add a description to the post, type in the “Tell Your Story” box.

To add tags to the post type keywords into the “Add Interested Tags” box. For example, you can tag a post as “Hiking” “Camping” and/or “Outdoors”.

Save Post

Allows you to save an unfinished post as a draft so that you can complete it at a later time.

Click on ‘Save’ button below the Navigation Bar

Share Post

Link your Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube accounts to your RockPorch account. This enables you to import content from social media platforms.

Once a post is completed, you can share it through various platforms. To share, click on the icon of the platform you would like to share through in the ‘Share it with the world!’ box. You can also click ‘Copy,’ this will copy the link to your post so that you can paste it where you would like.

Create a Locker

You can create a separate locker for various activities or excursions. For example, you can create a locker for ‘Backcountry Camping – Summer’ another for ‘Backcountry Camping – Winter’ and another for ‘Leisure – Family Weekend Camping’

Click on the [+] icon on the top right side of your page. Select “Create a Locker” from the dropdown menu.

In this modal you can name the locker, write a description of the locker, and tag the locker. Then click, Create.

To add a product to the locker, click on the [Add a Product] button.

This will bring you to ‘My Products’ which are all of the products you have saved to ‘My Products’. To select a product, click on the product. You can add as many products as you need to from ‘My Products’. Then click [Add to Locker], on the bottom right side of the modal.

To edit the order in which the products appear in a locker, click on [Edit Products Grid]. You can then drag the products into the order you want them to appear.

To add a comment to a product within the locker, click on the [+] icon located on the top right corner of the product. This feature enables you to add a comment to a product for the specific locker. For example, you can explain why a specific product is in the locker. The [+] icon is only viewable to the Creator, once a product has a description, the [text icon] will appear in the top right corner of the product, which will then be viewable to users.

Share a Locker

Share your lockers across various platforms

To share a locker, copy the link in the ‘Share it with the world!’ box under the locker and paste it where you would like it to be shared. You can also click on the Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, or email icon to share directly through that channel.

Add a Product

Click on the [+ icon] in the navigation bar. Select ‘Add a Product’ from the dropdown menu.

Paste the URL of the product you would like to add into ‘Paste the Product Link’. Then click ‘Add Product’

Add the manufacturer of the product into the ‘Product Manufacturer’ box. Add the product name into the ‘Product Name’ box. Select the number of stars you rate the product in the ‘Give it a star rating’ box. Write a brief personal review of the product in “Write a short review’ box. Add tags to the product in the ‘Add interest tags’ box. Select which locker you would like to add the product to, or add it to ‘My Products’, from the dropdown menu. Click [Add Product].

RockPorch Bookmark Tool

Use the RockPorch Bookmark Tool to easily add products to ‘My Products’

To save the RockPorch Bookmark Tool, click on [+ Icon] in the navigation bar and select ‘Add a Product’. In the modal, drag the [+ add to RockPorch icon] into your bookmarks bar.

Once the tool is saved in your bookmarks, you can drag the link directly from the retailer’s website of a product to the saved tool in your bookmarks to add a product to ‘My Products.

Share a Product

To share a product, click the [Share Icon] located under the image on the products page. You can either copy and paste the link or select the platform you would like to share the product through.

Link PayPal Account

To link your Paypal account to RockPorch, click on your profile picture in the navigation bar and select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu. Then select ‘Pro Settings’ from the menu on the left side of the page. Enter the email address associated with your Paypal account under Commissions and Payments.

View Analytics

To view your analytics, click on your profile picture in the navigation bar and select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu. Then select ‘Pro Settings’ and click on ‘Analytics’ from the menu on the left side of the page.

Add Personal Information

To add your personal information, such as your phone number and mailing address, click on your profile picture in the navigation bar and select ‘Account’ from the dropdown menu. Then select ‘Pro Settings’. What is the benefit to adding this info?

Download Your Data

To download, click on your profile picture in the navigation bar, select Profile from the dropdown menu. Click on Account Settings from the menu of the left side of the page. Click on ‘Download Data’.

Connect PayPal Account

To connect your PayPal account click on your profile picture in the navigation bar, select Account from the dropdown menu. Then select Pro Settings and fill in the email address associated with your PayPal account under Commissions & Payments.

FAQs

Affiliate marketing is an arrangement where publishers earn commissions through referrals by promoting other websites content, typically products or services.

RockPorch has agreements with brands and retailers to pay commissions for sales referred to the brand by RockPorch and its Creators. When someone clicks on a RockPorch link and makes any purchase within the allowable time window (even a different product than your link), RockPorch will record that sale and remit a commission to the Creator. By the way, that time window can be as long as 30 to 60 days for some brand partners.

No! It’s absolutely free and there is no impact to the end consumer. Our software platform is free for Creators once you’re accepted and any links/ products you promote, the customer pays the same price if they got there without your referral.

The most important criteria is that you create relevant and consistent content. There are no minimum audience requirements, follower count, or anything like that. Our team will decide whether you are a fit or not. If not, we’ll tell you why and what you need to work on.

We pay commissions every month. As long as you have over $20 of commissions, you will receive funds directly to your PayPal!

Once you drive traffic to our brand partners site, you will earn a commission on anything they buy within the allowable time window, so long as the consumer does not click on any other affiliate link from somewhere else.
